Singer Le Mans. Tim and Fuzz take on a 1934 Singer Le Mans 2 seater sports car owned by a 70 year old farmer who is unfortunately suffering from dementia. The cars last outing was over 17 years ago when it had a starring role in a glorious wedding. The boys have to retrieve the car from under the nose of the owner but once they have the it safely back at the workshop Fuzz and Tim discover the engine is in a very poor state and find they may even have to replace it altogether. In desperation Fuzz takes the engine to his expert engine repair pal who is only cautiously optimistic. Meanwhile Tim concentrates on wheels; getting the rusty road ones shiny & green again and turning the steering one from cracked and corroded to buttery smooth. However its getting hold of an old and rare piston that tests Tim's blagging blarney to the limit as he attempts to prise one from some unwilling hands. Expert engine repairs are soon all in place and Tim and Fuzz take the car to the Imperial War Museum at Duxford. Here they hide it behind a Mark 1 Spitfire in the Battle of Britain display. Believing that they have won tickets for a free tour John and Joly go along with a request to have their photo taken in front of the Spitfire only to find its been double booked and its being used by Tim while he presents another, completely fake, TV show about planes. Eventually Tim makes it clear why they are really there as he finally unveils and reunites John and Joly with their cherished Singer LeMans. There's tears of Joy and relief as the car is almost unrecognizable from the last time they saw it only a few weeks before.
